Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact in the lives of K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. Work in a supportive educational environment providing a full spectrum of speech and language services, while enjoying increased focus on your students without added duties outside of contracted therapy hours. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August through early June and caters to a vibrant range of elementary, middle, and high school learners. SLPs will deliver both direct and indirect services with guaranteed weekly hours, all within a positive and collaborative school setting. Travel therapists are also eligible for stipends to make your assignment even more rewarding.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
Valid SLP licensure in California (or eligibility to obtain) SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY considered Experience working with K-12 students preferred Skilled in developing, implementing, and tracking IEP goals Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessments, evaluations, and tailored therapy to students with varied communication needs Collaborate with special education teams, educators, and families Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings as needed (within regular hours) Support student success through evidence-based intervention and advocacy
