Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic educational environment as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina. You'll make a meaningful difference for K-12 learners through direct assessment, individualized intervention, and valuable collaboration with educators and families. What you bring:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred Current North Carolina Department of Public Instruction "G" License required Additional licensure through the NC Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists may be accepted Experience working with school-aged children across K-12 preferred Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities Key responsibilities: Serve a varied caseload of K-12 students with speech, language, and communication needs Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses to identify student needs Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and educational records Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Offer guidance and strategies for classroom teachers and families By joining this collaborative setting, you'll enjoy a platform to expand your professional expertise, gain valuable experience with diverse student needs, and make a direct impact in the school community.
