Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a contract opportunity supporting students' communication and language needs for the upcoming school year! This role is ideal for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), looking to make a meaningful impact within an educational environment. Your journey will begin in late August and last through mid-June, allowing you to guide students through a full academic cycle. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and play a crucial part in students' growth and success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid SLP license and CCC credential Background in school-based SLP settings Experience with IEP development, progress tracking, and report writing Strong communication and collaborative abilities Familiarity with a diverse caseload, including articulation, language, and social communication challenges Comfort with both pull-out and push-in services
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and identify students with speech, language, and communication disorders Develop individualized treatment plans and implement evidence-based interventions Conduct therapy sessions for students, both individually and in group settings Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff Maintain accurate records and provide timely progress reports Support the school community by offering resources and in-service training as needed You'll find this contract position near scenic Vermont surroundings—a wonderful setting for both professional fulfillment and personal exploration during your assignment.
