Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role as a Speech Language Pathologist serving K-12 students for the upcoming academic year. Work in a supportive school environment near Bahama, NC, providing essential speech and language services to help students reach their full potential. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 6, 2026, through May 25, 2027, and is ideal for professionals who are passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of children.
Key Qualifications:
Hold (or be eligible for) North Carolina SLP licensure Credentials such as CCC or CFY are welcome Previous experience in K-12 settings preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to evidence-based practices and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Deliver both direct and indirect services as outlined in IEPs Maintain timely documentation and progress updates Engage with teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive learning environment Manage your caseload within guaranteed hours—no additional duties such as bus or lunch duty required
