Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a speech-language pathology professional for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers the flexibility of choosing either full-time or part-time hours, working primarily with elementary students while also engaging with some middle and high school learners. Use your expertise to empower students to communicate confidently and thrive in their academic environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid state licensure as an SLP, SLP-CFY, or SLPA Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric caseloads a plus Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills Passion for fostering student growth and supporting individualized education goals
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels Design and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff and families Deliver services onsite and/or via teletherapy as needed Conduct assessments, maintain detailed documentation, and contribute to IEP development Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and consult with teachers to support student success Educate and offer resources to parents and staff regarding effective communication strategies
