Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting students in the Las Vegas area as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year. This full-time, on-site contract opportunity will have you working closely with school teams and students across various campuses, providing essential speech and language services. Assignments will be determined based on district needs, with caseloads and ages subject to variation.
Key Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Active NV DOE Certification Active Nevada SLP License SLP-CF considered, but preference given to those holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Full-time, on-site availability starting July 29, 2026, through May 21, 2027 Bilingual applicants encouraged (additional consideration provided) Strong communication and collaboration skills essential Quick adaptability to diverse school environments and student needs Commitment to completing district credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting No part-time, hybrid, or virtual schedules accepted
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy and support to students with diverse needs Conduct evaluations, develop, and implement IEPs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment Maintain accurate documentation and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Serve multiple school sites in the Las Vegas area as assigned Adjust strategies to meet individualized student goals District interviews and makes offers directly, ensuring a streamlined hiring process.
