Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This part-time contract opportunity focuses on delivering quality speech and language services to a diverse PreK-12th grade caseload. Hours are 8am to 12pm, four days a week, with scheduling flexibility to accommodate your needs. The assignment runs from June 24th through July 17th, providing essential therapy and support during the summer session.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid state licensure as an SLP Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for PreK-12th grade students Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Comfortable collaborating with educators, support staff, and families Flexibility to adapt to student needs and program goals
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation of student progress Collaborate with teachers and staff to support communication goals within the classroom Participate in relevant meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Develop creative, engaging, and individualized interventions for a wide range of needs Communicate clearly with parents and caregivers as needed regarding student progress This position offers a rewarding short-term commitment with flexibility in scheduling, allowing you to balance summer activities with meaningful work.
