Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational environment. In this role, you'll empower learners of varying ages and abilities to reach their communication goals through specialized intervention and compassionate care. You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate meaningful progress in students' speech, language, and social interaction skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued Strong organizational skills and a collaborative spirit Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Dedication to supporting diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs Provide direct speech-language intervention in group and one-on-one sessions Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Consult and communicate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families Offer guidance and resources to school personnel regarding communication strategies Participate in professional development and uphold best practices in school-based therapy This contract role offers a chance to make a direct impact on student success while working within a supportive educational team.
