Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity working with school-aged children in a vibrant educational environment. This position offers you the chance to make a real difference in students' lives while collaborating with a supportive team of educators and specialists. With three openings available, you'll help meet the speech and language needs of students, primarily those in preschool to 5th grade, with some involvement supporting 9th grade. The assignment runs from mid-August through late May, giving you the chance to work a complete school year and build lasting connections.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting Passion for supporting students' speech, language, and communication development Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to manage a caseload of students ranging from age 3 to 9th grade
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, ages 3 through 5th grade, as well as select support to 9th grade students Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and document student progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student growth Deliver effective interventions in both individual and group settings Maintain accurate records and comply with all school policies and timelines
