Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services for schools in the Hamden, CT area. This position is ideal for a skilled SLP eager to make a meaningful difference in students' lives while working within a supportive educational environment. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility for Connecticut as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) desired, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered Experience working in a school setting preferred; strong new graduates are also encouraged to apply Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Provide therapy tailored to each student's unique needs, both individually and in group settings Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families Document evaluations, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings as needed Support a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students This contract SLP role brings opportunities for professional growth, impactful work, and flexible scheduling options.
