Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives as a valued Speech-Language Pathologist in an educational setting near Royston, GA. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to enrich student communication skills across middle and high school, while also lending expertise to MTSS initiatives at the elementary level. Enjoy a manageable caseload—likely 20 students or fewer—ensuring the ability to make a focused impact across age groups.
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to students, guiding them toward individualized communication goals. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress for each student on your caseload. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to support students' IEPs and interdisciplinary planning. Support Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) at the elementary school, including consultation, intervention planning, and informal screenings. Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with diverse needs.
Desired Qualifications:
Active/licensed Speech-Language Pathologist credentials, with strong background in school settings. Experience providing services to both middle and high school students, with flexibility to assist at the elementary level. Familiarity with MTSS processes or willingness to learn and grow in this area. Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
