Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis, supporting students' communication skills and helping them reach their full potential. This rewarding role is ideal for professionals with strong clinical skills and a passion for making a positive impact in schools.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CFY or CCC required) Experience working with school-aged children preferred, but open to both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills Ability to develop and implement appropriate therapy plans based on individual educational needs Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students per Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Complete thorough assessments and evaluations to determine students' therapy needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members to support each student's progress Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes Participate actively in IEP meetings, helping to set realistic, measurable goals Provide consultation and training to school staff as needed This contract position also offers the potential for renewal—an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking stability and continuity in a supportive academic environment.
