Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services throughout various schools in the vibrant Largo/Tampa, FL region. This full-time, on-site position spans from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering you the chance to work alongside dedicated professionals and make a lasting difference in the lives of students across multiple campuses and age groups.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current and valid Florida SLP License is required Experience working in school settings is preferred Comfortable managing diverse caseloads across different schools and age groups Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills Flexibility to work in various environments and adapt to the needs of each school Willingness to be onsite and travel between campuses as needed Must provide candidate zip code for optimal school assignments within commuting range Candidates may be asked to participate in a prescreen interview to assess fit for the role
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with a range of communication needs Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans, and document progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members Support students across different campuses and age groups, adjusting interventions and strategies accordingly Contribute to a positive, collaborative school environment and uphold standards of excellence in service delivery
