Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Embark on an exciting contract opportunity serving middle and high school students as an SLPA in the vibrant West Bend, WI area from August 2026 through November 2026. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers the chance to make a significant difference by supporting communication and educational goals in a collaborative school setting. The position is set to begin at the start of the academic year, with interviews available this week for qualified candidates.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Current SLPA license or certification meeting Wisconsin requirements Experience supporting speech-language services in school or healthcare settings Strong understanding of language, articulation, and fluency intervention strategies appropriate for adolescent learners Excellent organizational and communication skills to work effectively with students, educators, and supervising SLPs Familiarity with progress tracking and basic documentation in educational environments Flexibility and adaptability to meet varied student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing individualized therapy plans developed by licensed SLPs Deliver direct therapy services to middle and high school students both individually and in groups Support classroom teachers and staff with resources and strategies to maximize student success Maintain accurate service logs and timely data entry on student progress Facilitate communication between students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Prepare and organize therapy materials appropriate for academic settings Step into a rewarding role, gain valuable experience working with dynamic age groups, and contribute to students' growth during this focused contract engagement.
