Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity serving students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in a vibrant educational environment. This position, located near the scenic Colfax, CA area, is ideal for dedicated professionals eager to make a tangible difference in districtwide student communication and language development. You'll work closely with a diverse caseload of approximately 35-40 students, ranging in needs and grade levels, fostering engagement and supporting growth. Your schedule will follow typical school-day hours, from 8:30AM to 4:00PM, with a half-hour unpaid lunch, providing a structured routine and time to collaborate with supportive colleagues. What we're looking for: Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology California SLP license or eligibility Previous experience working in school settings preferred Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Confidence managing a caseload of 35-40 students districtwide Commitment to evidence-based practice and documentation Key responsibilities: Conducting comprehensive speech-language assessments Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Providing direct and consultative therapy services across multiple school sites Monitoring student progress and documenting outcomes Communicating regularly with educators, administrators, and families to support student success Enjoy the rewarding pace of working across districtwide settings, each day bringing new opportunities to make an impact.
