Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role providing specialized speech-language therapy services as part of an Early Interventionist Team. Serving children ages 3-4, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting early communication development in a school-based setting near Dubach, LA. This part-time opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
Valid Louisiana SLP License is required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience with school-aged children, especially early intervention or preschool-aged (3-4 years) Strong collaborative skills to work within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive learning environment Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Main Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services onsite to preschool-age students (3-4 years) Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for communication and language disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and intervention teams to support student progress Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of services and student progress Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed Stay up-to-date on best practices and compliance requirements in school-based therapy
