Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve in a school setting located in La Fayette, GA. This role involves providing speech and language support to students, collaborating with educators and families to create and implement effective communication plans, and contributing to student progress and success.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or certification Experience working in school environments preferred Strong assessment and intervention skills for pediatric populations Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to identify communication disorders in students Design and deliver therapy sessions tailored to individual needs Document student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
