Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Travel Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with Emergency Room experience to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. In this contract opportunity, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and utilize your clinical expertise to support patients during urgent and critical moments.
Qualifications:
Current, active RN license Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an Emergency Room setting Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical skills Ability to stay calm and adapt quickly in high-pressure situations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide rapid, accurate assessments and initiate immediate interventions for emergency cases Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity and clinical protocols Administer medications, fluids, and treatments per physician orders Monitor vital signs and promptly report changes in patient status Document thoroughly and accurately in electronic medical records Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimum patient outcomes Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatments, and discharge instructions Uphold hospital policies and compliance standards at all times This role offers the chance to gain valuable experience and make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients experiencing critical health events.
