Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity - Liberty, MO (Part-Time & Contract) A rewarding position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services within a school setting in Liberty, Missouri. This contract role offers an engaging environment to support students' communication needs while contributing to their academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations for students to identify needs and develop individualized plans Deliver targeted therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and communication skills Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to monitor progress and ensure continuity of care Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements Participate in team meetings and contribute to development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working in school settings is highly valued Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills Effective communication and collaboration abilities Candidates interested and available for part-time schedules are encouraged to apply
