Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Physical Therapist supporting students during an Extended School Year (ESY) program. This contract position offers a unique chance to make a positive impact on young learners, working part-time in a dynamic educational environment near Liberty, MO. The assignment runs from June 1st to June 25th, providing services across local school sites.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Physical Therapy (PT) license issued by the state of Missouri Previous experience in school or pediatric settings highly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapy plans for diverse student needs Dedication to maintaining ethical and professional standards
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services to students as assigned for the ESY session Evaluate student needs and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to support student progress Document all treatment activities, student responses, and progress towards IEP goals Effectively manage a part-time caseload, adjusting schedule based on site requirements Maintain compliance with state and district protocols and documentation guidelines
