Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic contract opportunity designed for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). This role is perfect for professionals who thrive in K-12 educational environments and are eager to impact students across multiple school settings near Okemos, MI. As an SLP, you'll utilize your assessment and intervention expertise across different campuses, promoting communication skills and collaborating with educators and families. Your week will include service at Cesar Chavez Upper Elementary (4 days per week and 2 days per week), Northridge Academy (approximately 8 hours-2 days per week), and Pontiac Academy for Excellence (approximately 9 hours-2 days per week), providing a varied and engaging caseload.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Valid state license (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology in Michigan Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred Proficient in conducting evaluations, IEP participation, and implementation of therapeutic interventions Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapy to students with speech and language needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, other related service providers, and families to support students' educational success Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and progress reports Travel between assigned campuses as scheduled
