Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA Valid state licensure or eligibility (Alabama-specific licensing requirements) Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly preferred Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to tailor interventions to each student's unique needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services addressing IEP goals Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and parents to help students reach their full potential Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Deliver engaging therapy activities in individual and small group sessions Offer professional insights and strategies for classroom accommodations This contract-based SLP position offers flexibility and the rewarding experience of helping students achieve greater independence and success in school.
