Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of elementary students by supporting communication skills and social development! An experienced, bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to serve a K-6 caseload of approximately 25-30 students for the 2026/2027 school year. This is a contract position located near Hanover, PA, requiring in-person availability two days a week (ideally Tuesdays and Thursdays). You'll work closely with a diverse group of students, many of whom have speech-only needs, while also collaborating with those with dual diagnoses.
Key Qualifications:
Active PA State License in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Demonstrated fluency in both English and Spanish (preferred) Prior experience in schools, particularly with executive functioning, social learning, and selective mutism Familiarity with IEPWriter and Synergy platforms highly desirable Commitment to cultural sensitivity and inclusive practices
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech/language services to students in grades K-6 Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans Complete accurate and timely IEPs using IEPWriter Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families Address diverse communication and social needs, including dual diagnoses Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to student support planning This opportunity allows you to truly impact the educational journey of elementary learners while working a flexible two-day schedule (8 AM to 3:30 PM).
