Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology expertise within a supportive K-12 educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will allow you to work onsite, collaborating with educators and assisting students across all grade levels to empower their communication and academic success. Your role will focus on conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and utilizing evidence-based interventions that help students overcome challenges in speech, language, and communication. Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certificate for Pennsylvania Active Pennsylvania teaching certificate (submit with resume) CCC-SLP credential required Experience or strong interest in K-12 school-based speech-language services Ability to work onsite with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose students' speech and language needs using standardized tools Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions for students of varying ages Collaborate closely with educators, counselors, and families to maximize student progress Maintain thorough and accurate documentation consistent with school and state requirements Provide ongoing support and training to staff regarding communication strategies and student needs Enjoy the stability of a full-time schedule (35 hours/week), the structure of a traditional academic calendar (August 17, 2026 - May 28, 2027), and the fulfillment that comes with helping young learners find their voice in and out of the classroom. to take your career further in the meaningful world of school-based speech-language pathology.
