Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting as you support students in middle and high school as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity offers hands-on collaboration with educational teams and families to promote student growth and development. Work closely with a caseload of approximately 40 students, delivering in-person therapy services. Enjoy the flexibility of up to 25 hours each week during the academic year.
What We're Looking For:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Current or pending SLP - CCC or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) eligibility Valid state licensure or ability to obtain prior to start Experience or strong interest in school-based speech services for adolescents Familiarity with IEP process, goal development, and progress monitoring Able to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families in a team-oriented environment Excellent communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy to middle and high school students in person Assess and document communication and language needs using formal/informal tools Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals Participate in eligibility, IEP, and parent-teacher meetings as needed Support generalization of skills into academic settings and daily life Maintain up-to-date records and track student progress Serve as a resource for staff and parents regarding speech-language issues This assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 26, 2027, following the school calendar for work/life balance.
