Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embrace the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a school setting for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. We're seeking skilled and compassionate professionals with expertise in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) and SLP-CCC credentials to support students' communication needs in a vibrant educational environment near Berkeley, CA. Multiple full-time, onsite contract positions are available, offering a chance to help learners achieve their fullest potential.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current Speech-Language Pathology license and active SLP-CCC certification Prior experience working in school-based settings preferred Expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students Ability to document progress and maintain compliance with regulatory standards Comfort with caseload management in a diverse school environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings for students referred for speech-language services Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique strengths and needs Deliver direct speech-language therapy in individual or group settings Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster inclusive educational experiences Provide ongoing education and support to staff and families regarding communication strategies Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and district guidelines You'll thrive in a supportive environment dedicated to professional growth and student success.
