Job Description
STUDENT QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in Junior or Senior year of high school 16 or 17 years old Enrolled in a qualified Career and Technical Education class Passing grades, no excessive absenteeism at school. Students will provide IFG with grades and attendance documentation upon request.Summer Schedule:
Available to work 30-40 hours per week, including weekends School year schedule: Available to work after school and weekends (not to exceed 20 hours/week) Approval of parents to participate through signed agreement Reliable transportation to/from work Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test, post-offer pre-employment physical, and background check.APTITUDE EXPECTATIONS
Follow Safety / Lock Out Tag Out policies and procedures Mechanically inclined Knowledge of basic hand tools (metric and standard) Ability to stay on task Motivated to learn (asks questions, self-starter) Follows instructions Communicates with mentor/supervisor and teacher/counselor any questions/problems/issues that arisePHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Production Ability to sit and/or stand for shift, reach with hands and arms, stoop, squat, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distance, and climb stairs. Bend at waist

Must be able to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, airborne particles (sawdust).
