OVERVIEW

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Archaeologist to join our Cultural Resources Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Tampa, FL.

YOUR ROLE

Provide administrative and operational support for cultural resource management projects, including archaeological surveys and report preparation. Conduct archaeological fieldwork under supervision, which may include pedestrian survey, shovel testing, data collection, and/or data recovery in diverse environmental conditions. Assist with project-related tasks such as artifact processing, data entry, curation, report figure production, site form preparation, desktop survey, and consultation activities.

ABOUT YOU EXPERIENCE

0-2 Years of professional experience in a related technical field.

EDUCATION

Completion of Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or a closely related field.

SPECIAL SKILLS

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely. Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively. Candidates must have the ability to work outdoors in varying field conditions, walk long distances, carry up to 40 pounds of equipment, stoop, and squat. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; basic computer and data entry skills.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
