Description:
Are you passionate about protein chemistry, antibody conjugation, and laboratory manufacturing? Were seeking a Biochemist•Conjugation to join a collaborative team focused on producing high-quality biotechnology products used in cutting-edge research and diagnostic applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a laboratory professional with experience in antibody labeling, purification, and chromatography who enjoys working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment where scientific expertise directly impacts product success. What Youll Do As a key member of the production team, you will support the manufacturing of complex antibody conjugates while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include:
Performing antibody conjugation using fluorescent dyes and light-sensitive fluorophores Executing protein purification and buffer exchange processes Utilizing chromatography techniques, including Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) Preparing buffers, reagents, and manufacturing solutions Analyzing products using UV/Vis spectrophotometry and related analytical methods Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, including chromatography systems, centrifuges, spectrophotometers, and pipettes Accurately performing concentration, dilution, and yield calculations Following SOPs, batch records, and GMP documentation requirements Maintaining detailed production records and manufacturing documentation Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and 5S workplace organization efforts Participating in daily operational performance reviews and team collaboration activities Contributing to a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence What Were Looking For Required Qualifications Associates degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline Minimum of 2 years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory operations, or a related scientific environment Hands-on experience with: Antibody conjugation Fluorescent dye or fluorophore handling Antibody purification Buffer exchange techniques Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) Technical Expertise Knowledge of protein chemistry and conjugation principles Experience with UV/Vis spectrophotometry and analytical testing methods Familiarity with GMP requirements and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Strong laboratory documentation and recordkeeping skills Experience preparing laboratory reagents and manufacturing solutions Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic manufacturing systems Success in This Role The ideal candidate is: Detail-oriented and highly organized Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment A proactive problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting technical challenges Committed to producing high-quality products and maintaining compliance standards A collaborative team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment Why Join Us?
