Job Description

Pay range: 19-27/hr •depending on experience
Duties:
Follow SOPs, batch records, and other documentation to ensure adherence to quality and regulatory standards. Perform antibody conjugation with light-sensitive fluorophores, supporting both small and large-scale production processes. Execute purification processes using various column chromatography techniques including Size Exclusion and Ion-Exchange. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring consistent and effective production. Collaborate with team members to promote a productive and cohesive work environment focused on quality and efficiency. Take initiative in continuous improvement projects and contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5S practices. Participate in daily visual management activities (QDIPs) to improve production performance. Demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage priorities in a fast-paced setting. Other projects or responsibilities may be required.
Skills:
Hands-on experience with antibody conjugation using fluorescent dyes and other labeling reagents. Proficient in antibody purification and buffer exchange techniques. Experience with Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC). Knowledge of protein chemistry, conjugation principles, and fluorophore handling. Ability to analyze conjugated products using UV/Vis spectrophotometry and related analytical methods. Experience preparing buffers, reagents, and manufacturing solutions. Proficient in operating laboratory equipment, including chromatography systems, spectrophotometers, centrifuges, and pipettes. Ability to perform concentration, dilution, and yield calculations accurately. Strong understanding of GMP requirements, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and SOP compliance. Skilled in documenting manufacturing activities and maintaining accurate production records. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing software systems. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team environment. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to product quality.
Education:
Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a related scientific field with 2+ years of experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or laboratory manufacturing. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline with 0-2 years of experience in biotech product development, manufacturing, or laboratory operations.
