Cagewash Technician I Alpha Omega - 3.6 Silver Spring, MD Job Details Full-time $17.42 - $17.50 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Equipment service recordkeeping Cleaning and sanitation procedure implementation Recycling Maintenance inventory management Medical equipment sterilization Quality records maintenance Maintaining an organized workspace Veterinary equipment cleaning Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) implementation Animal enclosure cleaning Maintenance activity documentation Quality assurance Clean workspace maintenance Safety standard operating procedures Standard operating procedures (SOPs) Quality control records management Entry level Full Job Description Reports to: Support Operations Supervisor Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Follow all SOP's pertaining to cagewash and safety within facility Maintain/clean all cagewash equipment used in the animal facility in accordance with SOP Process/sterilize all equipment in accordance to SOP Deliver clean equipment to animal rooms as requested by animal technicians/supervisors Maintain appropriate inventory of caging and equipment Pull dirty equipment from hallways to cagewash area for processing Fill water bottles to be used in accordance with SOP and designated schedule Maintain a clean work station through both the dirty and clean sides of cage wash Maintain accurate records of quality assurance and maintenance of equipment/supplies Attend and participate in weekly training as provided by the contract Participate in the weekly rotation of Tyvek recycling Attend and participate in weekly department meetings Any additional duties as requested/assigned by supervisor and or project manager/assistant project manager
