About Turf Tech, Inc. Turf Tech, Inc. is an independent seed testing laboratory serving the turfgrass, agricultural, and seed industries. We provide accurate, timely, and reliable seed testing services to seed companies, growers, researchers, and distributors, helping ensure compliance with industry standards and supporting high-quality seed production. Position Summary Turf Tech, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Purity Analyst to join our laboratory team. This position is responsible for performing seed purity analyses in accordance with established laboratory procedures and industry standards. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, enjoys working with small samples under a microscope, and is committed to producing accurate, high-quality results. Responsibilities Conduct seed purity analyses according to laboratory protocols and industry standards. Separate and identify pure seed, weed seed, other crop seed, and inert matter. Operate microscopes, balances, and other laboratory equipment. Record observations and test results accurately. Prepare and organize samples for testing. Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization. Follow quality assurance procedures and laboratory safety guidelines. Assist with additional laboratory tasks and projects as needed. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to sit for extended periods and perform fine manual work. Preferred Associate's or bachelor's degree in biology, agriculture, plant science, environmental science, or a related field. Laboratory experience. Experience working with microscopes or precision instruments. Familiarity with seed, agriculture, or horticulture (preferred but not required). Desired Traits Curious and eager to learn. Reliable and dependable. Strong work ethic. Excellent observational skills. Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
