Category Laboratory - Cytology Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced cytologist to support laboratory operations focused on cytology. In this essential position, you'll analyze cell samples, provide accurate laboratory assessments, and contribute to diagnostic procedures in a fast-paced medical environment. Collaboration and attention to detail are crucial as you work alongside medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Qualifications and Skills:
Certification as a cytologist (ASCP or equivalent required) Proven experience working in a clinical cytology laboratory Thorough knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and quality control procedures Proficiency with microscope techniques and interpretation of cytology specimens (gynecologic and non-gynecologic) Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Analytical and organizational skills to manage specimen workflow efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
