A Research Associate I is available in the lab of Dr. Sarah Shuck. You will provide technical support for NIH-funded studies investigating how metabolic dysfunction promotes prostate cancer progression through methylglyoxal-mediated DNA damage. You will be responsible for executing laboratory experiments and maintaining day-to-day research operations in a collaborative translational research environment. As a successful candidate you will: Perform mammalian cell culture, including maintenance of prostate cancer cell lines and primary cultures. Conduct molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell biology experiments, including Western blotting, qPCR, immunofluorescence, flow cytometry, and ELISA. Assist with mouse studies, including tissue collection, sample processing, and record keeping. Prepare samples for histology, immunohistochemistry, microscopy, and
