About Us We are a team of highly experienced tree specialists dedicated to advancing the science of tree health and environmental stewardship. Our work combines biology, field research, and practical plant healthcare solutions to protect and improve the health of trees and landscapes. Our team operates with high standards, strong accountability, and a commitment to doing things correctly. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, communicate clearly, and approach challenges with professionalism and discipline. The Role The Plant & Tree Research Assistant supports field research, plant health analysis, and data reporting. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow protocols closely, and the discipline to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. While training is provided, this role is best suited for individuals who are proactive, organized, and capable of taking ownership of their work. Key Responsibilities Conduct field research related to tree biology, plant health, pests, and diseases Collect and document accurate research data during field assessments Prepare organized research reports and documentation Follow established research protocols and procedures consistently Communicate progress, findings, and challenges with supervisors Support ongoing research projects and field operations Maintain organized records and documentation for research activities What We're Looking For Degree in biology, environmental science, forestry, horticulture, or related experience Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate work Ability to follow protocols and complete work thoroughly Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Self-motivated and able to work independently when needed Strong work ethic and reliability Comfortable working both in the field and with technical documentation Preferred Qualifications Field research or environmental fieldwork experience Plant science, forestry, or arboriculture knowledge Experience with data collection or research documentation Familiarity with tools such as Google Maps, Microsoft Office, and research software Our Standard The individuals who succeed on our team are those who take responsibility for their work, communicate proactively, and maintain a high level of professionalism in everything they do.
