12-month contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent Responsibilities As a tissue culture biologist, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding various cell lines, performing and troubleshooting cell-based assays, and optimizing protocols. You will work with human whole blood and primary cells, including their isolation, culture, and use in downstream assays. You will also provide automation support and data analysis for high-throughput in-vitro assays using liquid handlers. You will work closely with other scientists and engineers on the Protomer team to ensure and continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the tissue culture and automation processes. Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in biology, biotechnology, or related field. Experience in tissue culture with mammalian cells; at least one year preferred. Experience in using automation platforms, such as Tecan, Hamilton, or Beckman Coulter preferred. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, R, or Python. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
