Key Responsibilities:
Deliver primary and acute care services to veteran patients in an outpatient setting Provide same day care and coverage for other PACT providers as needed Collaborate with mid-level providers (Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants) Demonstrate clinical competence in history-taking, examination, diagnosis, therapeutic ability, emergencies, patient management, consultations, and record keeping Participate in Process Improvement/Quality Assurance projects and other administrative duties Maintain patient treatment records and compliance with VA healthcare documentation standards Engage performance measures and process improvement initiatives Foster collaboration with supervisory and frontline staff to improve clinic operations Experience or interest in Women's Health preferred Santa Maria, CA, situated on the picturesque Central Coast, is known for its favorable climate, rich agricultural heritage, and vibrant wine country. Salary Range:
$270,000- $315,000
PTO:
50-55 days of PTO annually (26/13 days of annual/sick leave, 11 holidays)Malpractice:
