Our client is a global, research-driven pharmaceutical manufacturer focusing on treatment options for diseases and conditions for which there is no satisfactory treatment option to date. The company is looking for a Scientist I - Cell and Molecular Biology to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work on cutting edge treatments and make a difference!

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate with experience in cell and molecular biology to support the design, execution, and analysis of in vitro studies. The successful candidate will contribute to research programs through hands-on laboratory work, assay development, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Perform aseptic mammalian cell culture and maintain cell lines for experimental studies. Design, execute, troubleshoot, and interpret experiments involving molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extraction, RT-PCR/qPCR, Western blotting, and ELISA. Conduct and optimize functional cellular assays and support assay development activities. Execute non-routine experiments with minimal supervision and contribute to innovative experimental approaches. Perform in vitro gene delivery studies using non-viral transfection methods. Utilize cell-based imaging techniques to evaluate cellular responses and experimental outcomes. Analyze, interpret, and present experimental data using statistical and graphical software tools. Maintain accurate laboratory records and prepare concise technical reports and presentations. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support departmental and project objectives. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and quality standards. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline. Hands-on experience with aseptic cell culture techniques. Experience with molecular biology methods, including: RNA/DNA isolation RT-PCR/qPCR Western blotting ELISA Experience performing and developing in vitro cellular assays. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot experimental challenges. Ability to independently design, execute, and interpret experiments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, GraphPad Prism, and other data analysis tools. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced research environment. Experience with non-viral in vitro gene delivery/transfection techniques. Experience with cell-based imaging and microscopy. Familiarity with gene expression analysis and functional cellular assay development. INDBH #LI-AH1
