Molecular Technologist

Company Description Molecular laboratory based in Palatka, FL searching for an experienced laboratory technician to join our team. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Molecular Technologist. The Molecular Technologist will be responsible for processing daily molecular laboratory tests to include UTI, RPP, wound, and women's health, handling laboratory equipment, and ensuring laboratory safety. The Molecular Technologist will also be responsible for other duties as needed. Qualifications Laboratory Safety and Laboratory Skills Experience with Data Entry and Molecular Laboratory Skills Strong Attention to Detail is Required Experience in Laboratory Testing and GLP Ability to work well in a small team environment Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field Florida lab technician license required Comfortable working with a small team Able to provide two professional references Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include knowledge of

PCR, DNA/RNA

isolation, molecular biology techniques, experience working in a molecular laboratory, and experience using laboratory information systems and equipment (Quant Studio). Proficient communication skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks are also important for this role.
