F000494 Salary Range $62,000•$88,000 Position Summary The Department of Biology in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College invites applications from broadly trained cell and molecular biologist for a tenure-track position to begin Fall 2027. Appointment at the rank of assistant professor is likely, but qualified candidates may be considered for a higher rank. Teaching responsibilities will include an advanced course in molecular biology, a basic cell biology course, and introductory and capstone courses in our innovative research-focused curriculum.
Basic Qualifications:
Basic qualifications are required at the time of application. PhD in cell biology, molecular biology or related field; postdoctoral experience desired. Demonstrated potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring and commitment to developing an active research program engaging undergraduate students.
