Job Description

The University of Louisville School of Medicine in affiliation with Norton Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced and academically oriented physician leader to serve as the next Division Chief of Neonatology.
Highlights of The University of Louisville Neonatology Division:
  • 9 NICUs (including Level IV and multiple Level III) across Kentucky and Southern Indiana
  • 70+ Providers
  • Norton Children's Hospital's Level IV NICU is one of the largest and most established units in the country
  • Successful Fellowship program admits 3 fellows each year
  • Fully integrated academic clinical care model focused on translating clinical research to state-of-the-art bedside care
  • Additional locations soon to be added, including a comprehensive Pediatric Academic Healthcare Campus with a 400-bed hospital on 150+ acres The Division Chief of Neonatology will:
  • Advance the program to the next level by constructing and implementing strategies for programmatic growth across clinical, educational, and research programs
  • Provide mentorship to junior faculty and grow the division to meet anticipated clinical access needs coming from additional expansion
  • Strategize and Collaborate with Department leadership on the development of brand new Pediatric Academic Healthcare Campus
