Salary Details The minimum anticipated salary for this position is $63,968. This position is for one-year, fully supported by grants, and is renewable based on continuing funding. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is interested in mechanisms of plant developmental biology and plant stress tolerance. The successful candidate will use a combination of molecular, genetic, cellular and biochemical approaches to study the molecular mechanism of how stomatal development is regulated by abiotic stresses. They will participate in the initiation of the different research projects available in the laboratory and are expected to independently conduct their own research project of basic cell biology and bioinformatics. Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. degree in plant biology, biochemistry, or related fields. Experience in plant biology, molecular biology, and/or biochemistry is highly desired, as well as knowledge of basic cell biology and bioinformatics. 04/24/2026 Minimum Education and Experience Ph.D. in plant biology, biochemistry, or related fields. Preferably applicants should have obtained their Ph.D. within the last 2 years. Experience in plant biology, molecular biology, and/or biochemistry is highly desired, as well as knowledge of basic cell biology and bioinformatics.
