We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join our DNA Core facility, which provides Regeneron laboratories with services necessary for conducting scientific research, including nucleic acid isolation and purification, Sanger DNA sequencing, gene expression, and genotyping. As a member of the DNA Core team, you'll perform assignments in a timely fashion, follow scientific protocols, and contribute to technology development through experiments that drive process improvement. Onsite - Tarrytown, NY Discover your role: Troubleshoots technical issues and communicates clearly with other team members Runs real-time and end-point qPCR reactions Analyzes and presents data Contributes to lab and equipment maintenance and orders supplies/reagents to help create a safe, effective, and efficient working environment Maintains accurate and complete records consistent with company policy and legal requirements Performs laboratory work involving pipetting, computer work, and communication with researchers This role requires: A minimum of a B.S. in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, or a related field, with 0+ years of laboratory experience Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Experience with qPCR (real-time and end-point) techniques Attention to detail and strong organizational and record-keeping skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Does this sound like you?
