Natural Resources Project Scientist Job DescriptionJob Description V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Natural Resources Project Scientist in Indiana, Ohio or Southwest Michigan with a preferance to the central Ohio region, where you will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world. You'll change the shape of your community by restoring an environment back to its native glory, creating impact that lasts. And, as part of our Wetlands & Ecology team, you will collaborate with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists to make meaningful, effective change across North America. Here's what you'll do: Conduct and manage project fieldwork within Power and Energy, private development markets and watershed planning. Complete project reports within assigned timelines and provide technical direction. Monitor project status and budgets and maintain project files. Perform and coordinate fieldwork with the Natural Resources Team, including wetland delineations and habitat evaluations. Prepare, submit, and obtain Section 404/401 and isolated wetland permit approvals. Opportunity to work on natural resource design/build projects. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and responsible decision-making. Represent V3 at professional industry events. Offer feedback to supervisory staff on performance of existing processes and procedures. We're looking for: Bachelor's degree in wildlife management, biology, ecology, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience with wetland delineations, habitat evaluations and regulatory agency coordination. Strong communication and project coordination experience. Prefer technical proficiency in Arc GIS, Microsoft Suite. Valid state driver's license.
