How to Apply Please send a CV, research summary, and 1-page essay detailing why you are interested in conservation chemistry to [email protected] Job Summary We seek a biological sciences expert to join a multidisciplinary automated drug discovery lab developing technologies to improve ecosystem health. The candidate will support tissue culture, cell culture, cell imaging, multi-omics, live animal handling, and bioinformatics capabilities within our lab, with applications focused on biodiversity conservation but also spanning human health. Responsibilities• The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team focused on accelerating drug discovery with data-rich and automated chemical methods for ecosystem health.

Required Qualifications•Minimum Requirements:
Research Fellow Education:
PhD in Experimental Biology with a distinguished track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.Alternative Appointment:
Candidates who do not yet hold a PhD may be considered for a Visiting Research Investigator rank, provided they hold a Master of Science (MSc) degree.Technical Qualifications & Skills:
Advanced proficiency in cell culture and cell biology. Strong instrumental analysis skills, specifically for investigating biological mechanisms utilizing U-M Core Facility resources. Experience in Python or R programming is highly preferred.Mission Alignment:
Candidates must demonstrate a clear interest in ecology and species conservation within their cover letter and application essay. Desired Qualifications• MSc or PhD in experimental biology, with a strong track record of publication in peer reviewed journals.
