We're seeking a dynamic Wetland Scientist to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Conduct wetland and regulated resource delineations in Massachusetts in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations Perform natural resource surveys and field investigations, including vegetation, wildlife, water, soils, site conditions, and habitat assessments Prepare and maintain field documentation, data collection records, and scientific analyses consistent with regulatory programs and technical guidance Support the preparation of project narratives, impact assessments, alternatives analyses, and supporting documentation for permit applications Assist with local, state, and federal permitting efforts, including coordination with agencies and project teams Utilize GPS and mapping tools to document field conditions and support project deliverables Collaborate with engineers, ecologists, designers, and GIS/mapping staff to support integrated, solutionsbased client services Contribute to technical reports, regulatory filings, and client deliverables with a high level of accuracy and professionalism Support biological monitoring, protected species reviews, and environmental compliance efforts as applicable Participate in project planning, scheduling, and coordination to support successful project execution Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field 3 years of experience conducting wetland and regulated resource delineations, both independently and as part of a team Massachusetts experience required; experience in other England states a plus Willingness to travel up to 50% regionally Valid driver's license, good driving history, and reliable transportation required Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with wetlands and native plant identification Basic knowledge and use of GPS equipment 38hour USACE Delineation Training Experience with GIS and/or FieldMaps Experience with natural resource surveys and methodologies, including vegetation, wildlife, water, soils, site characteristics, and habitat assessments Knowledge of routine permitting requirements for wetlands, waters, floodplains, and buffer zones within inland and coastal/tidal ecosystems Experience with

Regional Supplement and state wetland and environmental resource programs (MassDEP Wetlands & Waterways, CT Inland Wetlands, etc.) State wetland and waters permitting experience in MA and CT required; RI preferred, ME and NH preferred Strong technical writing skills, including field documentation and scientific data collection in accordance with regulatory programs and technical guidance Strong communication skills and a collaborative, teamoriented approach when working with design/engineering, ecologists, and mapping teams Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook Why you'll love working for us: Company-subsidized medical and dental.
