Job Description

Trans Ova Genetics is seeking a motivated Commercial Professional Services Embryologist I to join our team in Dumas, TX. This role offers a hands‑on opportunity to build specialized skills in embryology and IVF laboratory operations while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast‑paced, science‑driven environment. RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform oocyte searching by pouring and examining OPU filters using microscopic techniques Assist with IVF laboratory processes, including stripping oocytes and loading straws Accurately enter and maintain embryology and lab data in accordance with established protocols Support inventory management of lab supplies and materials Adhere to Trans Ova Genetics' policies, procedures, and quality standards Maintain a professional demeanor representative of Trans Ova Genetics' industry leadership Promote and follow all workplace safety practices Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
QUALIFICIATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or a related field, or a Veterinary Technician degree Less than two years of embryology or Trans Ova Genetics-related experience Strong attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment Effective communication skills with internal teams and external clients Manual dexterity and strong hand‑eye coordination for manipulating small tools and equipment Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a microscope Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and meet vision requirements including close focus, depth perception, and color/pattern recognition
