Position Details Position Information Position Title Faculty Anatomy & Physiology FLSA Exempt Contract Length 9 months Class Summary Responsible for providing instruction within the Biology Program. Develop and revise curriculum and course work. Provide scheduled office hours for student consultation. Serves on College committees as needed and assigned. Participate in student orientated instructional and advisement activities as needed and assigned. Position Type Faculty Employment Status Full Time Position Funding Regular Minimum Education/Training/Experience Master's degree or higher in theoretical or applied Biology or Life Sciences field with graduate level hours in anatomy and physiology OR MD, DO, DDS, DVM, DC, DPT, PharmD, OD with graduate level hours in anatomy and physiology. Preferred Education/Training/Experience M.S. or Ph.D. in Biology Some teaching experience in biology, anatomy and physiology, and microbiology courses at a community or two-year college. Minimum Knowledge & Skills Ability to teach anatomy and physiology courses. Preferred Knowledge & Skills Ability to teach nutrition, general biology, anatomy and physiology, and microbiology courses. Job Duties Prepare, develop, revise curriculum and course work. Meet classes as scheduled. Complete paperwork/tests and issue student grades as scheduled. Maintain office hours for student consultation. Serve on committees as needed and assigned. Other duties as appropriate to the position.
