Job Description

Semex is a dynamic global organization that is committed to developing and delivering innovative genetic solutions. Our Boviteq USA division offers reproductive and genetic solutions to North American clients from its world-class In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) labs in Madison, WI, Turlock, CA, Syracuse, NY, and Jerome, ID. Working with accredited OPU (Ovum Pick Up) centers and veterinarians across the U.S., clients can take advantage of Boviteq's innovative reproductive technologies. Boviteq is seeking a summer intern with beef cattle experience, to attend cattle shows to promote Boviteq services and visit key accounts and veterinarian partners. This will be an 8-week internship scheduled from June 7, 2027 to July 30, 2027 and will include training at our headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin followed by an intense travel schedule. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with experience attending national shows and an interest in cattle reproduction (IVF experience a plus, but not necessary). This individual should also be confident interacting with current and potential clients, willing to travel extensively, and pursuing a degree in Animal Science or a related field. Events to attend will include Junior Nationals of the following breeds: Red Angus, Angus, Hereford, Maine Anjou and Chianina, Simmental and Shorthorn as well as direct client and veterinarian partner visits. At Boviteq USA, we demand the best of ourselves, our company and what we do for our customers. We believe that people truly are the cornerstone of our success, and that our employees are our most important asset. Surrounding ourselves with the best, the brightest and the most aggressive professionals ensures we attain this goal. Application deadline for the position is December 5, 2026.
