Current projects focus on multi-Omics studies, cancer immunology, developing and testing novel targeted therapies and immunotherapies in pre-clinical models. Dr. Zhang's lab (https://wibloodcancer.wisc.edu/our-researchers/jing-zhang/) is also part of the Wisconsin Blood Cancer Research Institute and UW Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC), an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center. UWCCC provides outstanding core facilities, including Flow Cytometry, Small Molecule Screening, Informatics, Genome Editing/Animal Models, Pathology and Small Animal Imaging among others, and UW-Madison provides a wide range of additional cores, including Optical Imaging, Mass Spectrometry and Translational Sciences BioCore. The scholarly environment is highly supportive, and laboratories reside in modern facilities with programs on stem and progenitor cell biology, microenvironment, cell therapeutics and mechanisms underlying myeloid leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma.
